What is Foundations?
Pelican Foundation Academy is where our youngest performers begin. It’s a 90-minute Saturday class for children aged 5 to 10, giving them a fun, supportive first taste of musical theatre.
Each week, children sing, act and dance together in one session, led by our resident tutors through games, songs and movement.
It builds confidence, teamwork and the early skills they’ll carry into the Music Theatre Academy as they grow.

What is the Academy?
The Music Theatre Academy is where Pelican performers learn to sing, act and dance, all in one session. Students rotate through an hour each of vocal, acting and dance every week, so that is three classes in one.
Our resident tutors are joined by special guests for vocal technique, cabaret and audition skills, and the year includes excursions to music theatre productions and mid-year and end-of-year showcases.
